Daily Activity (English Version) #2 " Continental breakfast & American Breakfast "
Today was the second day on breakfast week. And same as yesterday, we went to the kitchen at 07.00 o'clock. After I arrived in the kitchen, my group was take out the danish that we've made yesterday from the chiller. After that, we stand on oneline at 07.15. Before we in, we did attendance and checked the tools, such as utensils and self attributes. After all was completed, we went into the main kitchen.
Before the practice began, we stand on oneline again and got the directions from supervisors about the breakfast menu today, such as continental breakfast and american breakfast. After done, we prepared the required tools and ingredients accorded with the sections that had been divided. As for the sections for today were checker, bread section, juice section and egg section, such as omelette/scrambled egg, egg benedict, boiled egg and fried egg. And my group got the section for egg benedict. As for the ingredients that we prepared such as eggs, smoked beef, sausages, boiled potatoes, grilled tomatoes, croissant and hollandaise sauce. Besides that, at 09.30 we baked the danish that had been smeared with egg wash.
After all groups done the prepared, we were stand by in our section, because at 10.00 the breakfast was began. Every egg section prepared 5-6 portions to served. Before we took the order, we made one portion of egg dishes for presented. During the breakfast, all groups worked well and nothing obtacles were hapenned. The breakfast was end at 11.30. This practice was very different with previous practices, because we can did the interactioned with volunteer from Poland. And certainly it will improve our ability to speak english.
After closed, we cleaned all worked areas. After done, we took a rest. At 14.00 o'clock we back to main kitchen and stand on oneline. We be explained by Chef about breakfast menu for tomorrow, that was english breakfast, such as oatmeal, fruit compote, cereal, muffin, english muffin and juice. And my group got the task for made the muffin with chopped walnut sprinkle on the top. After that, we prepared all ingredients and made it. All products were stored in te pastry. After all groups done, we did general cleaning dan finished at 17.30. Next, we took a rest a while and we were oneline at 17.50 and prepared for back to home.
